Saif Ali Khan was recently attacked during an attempted robbery at his home in Bandra. The incident happened early in the morning on January 16, 2025. An intruder, named Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, entered Saif’s house with the intention of stealing. During a confrontation between the intruder and Saif’s housemaid, Saif tried to intervene and got stabbed multiple times in his back.
Saif was quickly taken to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where doctors performed surgery to remove a 2.5-inch-long blade from his back. The surgery was successful, and Saif has been moved from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to a regular room. He is recovering well and is expected to be discharged by January 21, 2025.
Saif’s sister, Soha Ali Khan, gave an update on his health at a recent event. She thanked everyone for their well-wishes and support. Soha said, “We are very happy that he is recovering well. We feel blessed and grateful that it wasn’t any worse. Thank you for all your wishes.”
The Mumbai Police have arrested the attacker, Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, who is an illegal immigrant from Bangladesh. He is currently in police custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
