According to the update The Punjab government has resolved to provide free medicines and testing facilities for patients, following the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
During a visit to the Clinic on Wheels camps and dispensaries in Sabzazar, Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir reviewed the medicine store, stock, and other medical facilities. He emphasized the importance of local procurement, stating that ordering medicines and other products from abroad is unacceptable. Khawaja Imran Nazir also interacted with patients to ensure the supply of medicines and blood screening.
The initiative includes conducting type-1 sugar tests for children at the clinic on wheels camps.
