A police spokesperson provided details about the allocation of funds:
- Rs. 500,000 has been granted for the treatment of Constable Iftikhar Ahmad in Vehari.
- Rs. 300,000 has been allocated for the medical expenses of retired Sub-Inspector Muhammad Iqbal in Sheikhupura.
- Rs. 250,000 has been provided for the treatment of Constable Shahbaz in Lahore.
- Rs. 250,000 has been granted for the medical expenses of Constable Ali Hamza in Lahore.
- Rs. 250,000 has been allocated for the treatment of Constable Imtiaz Ali in Lahore.
This funding is part of the police department’s efforts to support its personnel and ensure they receive proper medical care. The committee’s decision highlights the importance of caring for injured officers and providing them with the necessary resources for their recovery.
