Pakistan Railways has introduced a 50% fare discount for individuals with disabilities traveling on all express and passenger trains, with the exception of the Green Line.
Moreover, attendants who accompany visually impaired passengers are also entitled to the same 50% fare discount.
Special reservation and booking counters have been designated for disabled persons at reservation offices.
Wheelchairs are provided at all major stations to assist passengers with disabilities. Special reservation and booking counters have been set up for disabled individuals at reservation offices.
Free access to executive washrooms and restrooms is available at select major stations, with plans to expand these facilities to 12 key locations.
The discount applies to all express and passenger trains, excluding the Green Line. Passengers can take advantage of this discount by presenting their CNIC with the disability logo during the booking process.
