Pakistan has started accepting applications for the 2025 Government Hajj Scheme, The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced that the application window is open from November 18 to December 3, 2024. Applicants must submit their forms at 15 designated banks across the country.
To apply the application every individual needs to deposit Rs200,000 with their initial application, after the draw on December 6, the second installment of the Hajj fees will be collected. The remaining balance must be paid between February 1 and 10, 2025.
The Government Hajj Scheme includes a comprehensive package covering air tickets, food, accommodation, training, and mandatory vaccinations for pilgrims.
Additionally, there are 5,000 seats allocated for overseas Pakistanis under the sponsorship scheme, available on a “first come, first served” basis.
These applicants can sponsor their loved ones’ pilgrimage by sending $4,225 to a designated bank.
For the first time, priority will be given to first-time applicants in the Hajj draw, aiming to provide new pilgrims with the opportunity to perform Hajj.
The official Hajj packages offer both long and short-duration options, lasting between 20 to 42 days, to cater to different preferences.

Health Requirements:
Only healthy and physically fit individuals are allowed to perform Hajj. Pilgrims with serious medical conditions such as kidney, heart, lung, or liver diseases, cancer, dementia, or infectious diseases like tuberculosis are not permitted to travel2.
Children under 12 and pregnant women are also not allowed to participate in Hajj this year2.
Vaccination Requirements:
Pilgrims must be vaccinated for meningitis, COVID-19, seasonal flu, and polio before their trip2.

Due to the extreme weather conditions during the Hajj season, the Saudi government has emphasized the importance of these health measures to protect pilgrims from heat-related illnesses.
General Health Guidelines:
Pilgrims are advised to follow common public health guidelines to curb the spread of respiratory infectious diseases. This includes washing hands frequently, using disposable tissues when coughing or sneezing, avoiding hand contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth, and wearing masks in crowded places
