The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced several new visa guidelines for 2024, aimed at making the country more accessible to tourists, business travelers, and expatriates.

One of the key updates is the introduction of flexible visit visas, allowing visitors to stay for up to 90 days. Visitors on 60-day visas can now extend their stay by an additional 30 days, making it a total of 90 days without leaving the country.

This extension costs AED 600 (USD 164) and must be processed before the visa expires. The UAE has also updated its five-year multiple-entry tourist visa, which allows stays of up to 90 days per visit.

Applicants must show a bank balance of at least USD 4,000 over the past six months, along with proof of return tickets, accommodation, and a valid passport.

Additionally, the job seeker e-visa has been extended to offer durations of up to 120 days, making it easier for skilled professionals and recent graduates from top universities to explore job opportunities in the UAE.

The UAE has also introduced a new Dubai Gaming Visa, granting 10-year residency to game developers, e-sports professionals, and digital creators.

Furthermore, the UAE’s Visa Amnesty program has been extended for two additional months, allowing individuals to regularize their status and avoid penalties.

These changes reflect the UAE’s commitment to attracting global talent and enhancing its position as a leading destination for tourism, business, and innovation.
