The National Seed Policy has been finalized to strengthen Pakistan’s agriculture. Announced during a high-level meeting chaired by Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, the policy aims to enhance the seed sector and address agricultural challenges.
The policy focuses on ensuring the functionality of the National Seed Development and Regulatory Authority (NSDRA) to improve seed quality, achieve food security, and boost agricultural productivity. By promoting advanced and export-quality seeds, the policy aims to ensure self-sufficiency and increase agricultural exports.
