NADRA Expands Offices

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in Pakistan is expanding its network of offices to improve access to essential services for citizens, especially in remote areas. This expansion aims to make it easier for people to get their identity cards and other important documents.

NADRA Expands Offices

NADRA plans to open new offices in all tehsils (administrative divisions) across Pakistan by March 31, 2025. This includes three new regional centers in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gwadar, and Gilgit-Baltistan, also launching a mobile application that will allow citizens to access services like ID cards, Family Registration Certificates (FRC), Pakistan Origin Cards (POC), and B-forms directly from their phones

The government is integrating passport services with NADRA offices. This means that people will be able to get their passports and ID cards from the same place. Some NADRA offices will have 24/7 passport counters to provide round-the-clock assistance

The new offices and mobile app will make it easier for people in remote areas to access NADRA services without traveling long distances.

Overall, this initiative is part of the government’s efforts to improve public services and make them more accessible to everyone in Pakistan.
