Malik Riaz, the Chairman of Bahria Town, and his family have received death threats via email. The threatening email demanded a ransom of 50 Bitcoins, equivalent to approximately PKR 1.42 billion. The email warned of severe consequences if the ransom was not paid. Following the email, a suspicious individual was seen outside the residence of Malik Riaz’s daughter, taking photos and gathering information about the house.
