Pakistani researchers and scholars are invited to apply for these awards, which aim to recognize and reward excellence in research, contributions to intellectual growth, and advancements in social welfare. They introduce different award categories and cash prize for Best Researcher, this award recognizes lifetime achievements or groundbreaking single publications contributing to intellectual and social development. The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 500,000. Second category includes Best Young Researcher this award is for early-career researchers under 40 who demonstrate potential for significant discoveries and impactful work. The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 500,000. Best Publication: This award is for publications with significant contributions to human welfare, socio-economic challenges, and global research. The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 1,000,000.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must reside in Pakistan for at least three years (or one year for young researchers) by January 1, 2024.
- Publications must adhere to HEC’s plagiarism policy and not have received previous awards2.
- Research articles must be published in HEC-recognized W-category journals with at least 100 citations.
- Books should be published by recognized academic presses.
