In another operation, the FIA’s Anti-Human Trafficking and Smuggling Wing arrested three human smugglers in Karachi. These individuals, identified as Zawar Hussain, Shahid Ali, and Zulfiqar Ali, were involved in extorting millions of rupees from young people in exchange for sending them to Europe and Iraq through illegal means.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the relevant authorities to strengthen the legal framework to curb human smuggling. He emphasized the need for swift enforcement of the Federal Prosecution Act 2023 and the issuance of red warrants for proclaimed offenders in human smuggling cases.
