Pakistan has recently sent help to Malaysia because of the bad floods there. The first batch of aid, which weighs over 40 tonnes, arrived in Kuala Lumpur on December 8, 2024. This aid includes important items like tents, blankets, quilts, sleeping bags, mats, and life jackets.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan sent the aid from Islamabad International Airport using a special flight. This first batch of goods will help thousands of families who have lost their homes and are staying in emergency shelters because of the floods. The floods have affected 137,410 people in 38 districts in Malaysia and have caused nine deaths.
Another batch of aid, the same size, is planned for next week. This shows Pakistan’s commitment to helping Malaysia during this difficult time. This effort is part of Pakistan’s larger plan to provide help to countries in need, especially those hit by natural disasters
