The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for trials to select players for the Regional U15, U17, and District U19 cricket teams. These trials will take place across Pakistan from January 20 to January 26, 2025.
Trial Dates:
U15 and U17 Trials: January 20-24, 2025
District U19 Trials: January 21-26, 2025
Eligibility:
U15: Players born between September 1, 9, and September 1, 2012.
U17: Players born between September 1, 2007, and September 1, 2011.
U19: Players born between September 1, 2006, and September 1, 2010.
Trial Locations:
Trials will be held in 113 districts/zones across 16 regions of Pakistan.
In the first phase, selectors will shortlist up to eight players per district/zone, except in regional headquarters where up to ten players will be shortlisted.
Selection Process:
Phase 1: Initial trials in each district/zone to shortlist players.
Phase 2: Selected U15 and U17 players will travel to their regional headquarters for final selection trials and bone age verification.
District U19: In the second phase, squads for the Intra-District tournament will be shortlisted in the 16 regional headquarters from the initially selected players. Final squads will be selected after bone age verification.
After the U15 and U17 teams are assembled, the PCB will organize Inter-Regional National U15 and U17 One-Day Tournaments.
The PCB will also launch Champions events for the best U19 players following the Regional U19 camps and tournaments.
